Helmut & Vito's Service and Parts opened for business in September of 1977. For the past 30+ years it has been the definitive European import, auto repair shop in the suburbs of Chicago. In March of 2012, Vito retired from the shop to relax and spend more time with family and grandchildren. Both Helmut and Vito drop by to say hello (and to make sure we are doing it right!) So now, after 4 years of service with Helmut and Vito's, Jim Dawson is now a partner and part owner with Tony Spanovic. They have also added the additional help of Jim Aguinaga, a BMW Level 1 Master Technician with 32 years of experience. Whether it's a complex technical problem or just a routine tune-up or oil change, let Helmut and Vito's factory trained experience go to work on your Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Volvo, Audi or VW.
