About The Bariatric Clinic

In 1985, Dr. Anthony McAlister pioneered the Bariatric medicine movement in South Carolina. His studies indicated that successful treatment of weight disorders required a combination of lifestyle changes, dietary supervision and medications. This successful approach to weight control has resulted in The Bariatric Clinic growing from one office in Greenville, South Carolina, to six fully staffed offices in two states. In 2016 Dr. William C. Donaldson assumed ownership of the practice. Our staff understands the issues involved with obesity and is here to provide a sound, safe and effective treatment of weight control. Your physician, who follows the standards of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, has expert skills and experience in the treatment of weight related disorders.
