Prison Consultants of America (PCA) was established in 2009 and is based in Chicago. For more than 14 years PCA has been advising celebrities, public officials (corruption cases), corporate executives, and other white-collar offenders serving or preparing to serve time in federal prisons. Prison Consultants of America helps white-collar offenders navigate the whole federal prison experience - giving them the tools and knowledge and specialized counseling they need to endure this daunting, unfamiliar world. Since 2009, PCA has served hundreds of clients, with a team that includes retired employees from the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), a therapist, and executive director Mike Sabo - an ex-offender and the ultimate source of PCA's unrivaled "inside information." (He served 8 years in federal prison, for bank fraud, grand larceny, and identity theft). ?For anyone who has never been in prison, nothing they've ever heard or read about life on the inside can prepare them for the experience...Even the least restrictive minimum security prison can be a place where violence, abuse, and exploitation---not just by inmates, but also prison employees are constant threats. ?The biggest Challenge for a "virgin" prisoner, though, may be inside their head...how will they handle their confinement?
